2. Enjoying your hero's journey book clubs, Day 1

• An extra challenge for your book club: What does the beginning of your book teach you about your hero's ordinary world? How is your hero in conflict with this world?

3. Wrapping up with an exit ticket

1. For TOMORROW: Bring your book club book and/or independent reading book to class tomorrow for 30 minutes of reading time.

2. For TUESDAY AFTER BREAK: Assigned book club reading and syllabus (determined by your group).
